The Mixologist Eva - Russian Black Lacquer Box Signed Fedoskino

The Mixologist Eva is a delightful large handmade lacquer box.

She is a hand painted rectangle box with hinge lid.

Eva has finely detailed hand painted Image of women around a fountain. A take on the original painting The Fountain of Bakhchisarai [Bakhchisaraiskii fontan] (1838-1849), by Karl Briullov (1799-1852). The most renown Russian romanticist of 19th century.

Along with gold floral and leaf boarder 

She is finished in traditional black lacquer and his inside is also finished in the traditional red lacquer. 

Signed Fedoskino 1958

Eva has some general wear to the lacquer surface and artwork. She has chips inside her opening edge, only visible when opened. Otherwise she is in good structural condition.
