Shipping policy

UK
Delivery within the UK will be sent by Royal Mail or Courier as appropriate. 
Standard Dispatch and deliveries will take approximately 5 - 8 days and will require a signature at recipient's end. Standard delivery within the UK is free for orders over £80.

Express Courier Service is also available for you, this will be 1- 3 working days delivery within.  This is an average timing based on orders being placed by 3pm. 

International We ship internationally Monday to Friday using a tracked service by DHL which takes between 1 - 10 days. Due to the many variables in calculating international shipping, e.g. size, weight, value, fragility, the price for international delivery is set, based on total value of your order so you have a clear indication on exactly how much you will be paying before you complete the check out, so please refer to the pricing table below. However please feel free to contact us if you feel the price calculation is not representing the size and weight of your order as we can re asses the total order for you. 

Where items are to be exported from the United Kingdom, all customers are responsible for complying with any duty paperwork and charges into the country of destination. International deliveries are sent by tracked express service. 

As a standard International dispatch and delivery can take between 3 to 4 occasionally up to 8 days and will require a signature at recipients end. 

Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU)

Our items are to be exported from the United Kingdom.  The Urban Vintage Affair only takes responsibility for shipping the product, and requires the customer to pay any import costs, such as VAT, duties, and clearing fees.

All customers should check current local rules before purchase to avoid surprise costs.

If a customer reject a parcel or does not comply with the fees and paperwork, then please be aware that if the item is returned, then the return fees will be deducted from the refund and could be more than the customs/duty/tariff cost.
