The Director Jessica - Antique Fully Engraved Silver Cloche / Food Dome

Jessica is a wonderfully large size silver plate rare serving cloche / food cover. 

She has detailed engraving all over her body of leaves, flowers and birds very rare design for a food dome

She has a hinge hook so she can sit on a wall.

Jessica has some wear to body with a dents and hairline cracks at her narrow ends.  Otherwise she is in good unable condition with resent bright replating. 

Maker is Walker and Hall Sheffield 1135

Dates 1885 - 1890

Jessica is a fabulous example of Victorian Fine Dining. This would have been used in a wealthy household to protect meats before serving in the Victorian era.
