Master Sydney - Antique Ebony & Silver Trophy Bowl
Master Sydney is an antique silver plated and ebony salad bowl.
Standing on three paw ball feet, her round cylindrical ebonised wood bowl has a vacant shield cartouche attached.
Sydneys opening rim is mounted with a band of silver plate. Handles either end with balls studs attachments.
She missing her original ceramic liner.
Her makers marking are on her base
c.1880-90 British made.
Beautifully crafted and stylish Victorian piece
Has some wear, visible seam at base, some shrinkage throughout the wood due to age and use.
She appears to gave some paint residue inside her bowl, (we can not be held responsible for previous owners actions)
Today she is perfect for holding a glass or ceramic bowl for food or use as a planter for kitchen herbs
