The Director Murray is a delightful antique potato masher dating 1800s.

He is an English turned wooden piece in a beautiful patina beech

The patina of treen is not always easy to put across digitally and this is truly one where you have to see and feel it to understand and appreciate its quality.

A superb pole lathe supported by deep wide knob. Turned from one piece of solid wood. He is of simple yet clever construction, designed to turn mash potatoes.

Einstein has a very nice colour and has acquired a soft and silky patina over the years.

He has a few aged dents and scratches all over event from a seriously hard mashing life. Murray. Otherwise he is in good sturdy condition for its age and free from wood worm.
