The Mixologist Lydia - Vintage Silver Plated Box the Shape of a Bird

Lydia is an antique silver plate container with lid in a very fine quality silver plate. A large box tin the shape of a bird, its surface engraved with subtle geometric detailing. shape of a bird/ duck, featuring hand-chased and engraved feather and scale detailing on the lid and bowl. Heavy weight and bowl has thick rim whilst lid has thin rim.

Some mild patina and surface scratches on her base. 

A charming and versatile piece appears to be mid century design, it’s perfect for holding small jewellery, sweets, treasure or convert into a candle vessel.
