Frankie is an amazing vintage device. A coin operated fortunetelling machine. A mechanical charity collection money box
You drop the coin in the top hole and wait for the dial to spin and stop on the circular fortune text on the face.
His design is of art Deco wooden and glass front with metal ring frame it the style of a ships porter hole
Dates 1930's
His back is of formed black tin metal (scroll down for a 306 degree view)
Frankie is a free standing machine with a green felted base to protect any delicate surfaces.
A fun creation has some history of its journey as the sticker at the back show that it was donated to the Queen Charlotte and Chelsea Hospital in London in 1985
Frankie only accepts 2p and 10p only. He has has a lockable money box which has a slight bent lip but is in working order to keep the coins safe.
His front notice reads;
