Tamsyn is a handmade papier mâché dish
She has a scalloped edge and body. Inside the dish is detailed handwork in tradition floral and swirl artwork along with sections of embossing a parts pattern.
She is heavily cream lacquered and hand painted flowerers, leaves and swirls and her colours remain sharp especially in her red and blue.
Her reverse is black lacquer and crazing all over from age and use
Tamsyn is a heavy dish even she has some distressed wear to her lacquer and paintwork, and some small wear around the edges, which is evident of use and age.
She dates 1890c and believed to be Japanese
