The Mixologist Nicholas - Antique Decorated Casket Box

Nicholas is a stunning 19th century hand painted wooden casket 

He is a good sized  pine table casket

Hand painted with gryphons, swags and acanthus leaves throughout all sides and a top central heraldic shield with a fleur de lis

His stacked base in moulding leaf tip designs is a lovely contrast to his vibrant red and gold body

He is has some scratches and a few chip throughout his body and paintwork. Some evidence of shrinkage as the base has a large split in the wood. He is still structurally stable and usable  He is well used with scuffs and marks showing his true used antique charm. 

His hinge lid works well fitting to his opening

Nicholas dates 19th century

Possibly French in origin
