Joel is a fine example of traditional of a rare antique calling card case. 

This is your opportunity to own something truly rare and beautiful.

Decorated in wonderful geometric diamond panelling of Mother of Pearl and abalone shell detail all with fine engraving of floral motifs

He has a hinged lid and with a spring action silver push button to the side which opens and securely closes tight.

His centre piece of the design is a diamond shaped sterling silver application, exquisitely engraved with geometric and floral patterns and monogramed with MB.

Joel can fit standard size business cards.

Dates late 19th century

Fabulous condition which is unusual for this style case. His mother of pearl panels are all there, just a tiny section missing from the abalone panel.  Has some wear throughout due to age and use.
