The Director May - Antique Silver & Amber Cheroot Holder With Case

The Director May is a lovely and unusual antique silver and amber cheroot holder with a sterling silver case.

Her case holds a large natural amber cigarette holder which has a band of silver at the end.  

Her case has a suspension loop at one end so she can be attached to a chain and worn as a dynamic pendant. Her case has a smooth plain finish and seals securely shut.  

She is hallmarked Birmingham 1905

Makers mark A J Zimmerman Ltd (Arthur & John Zimmerman)

A brilliant find indeed, she is in wonderful condition, with minor wear.

One would usually find amber holders worn and chewed, so it’s nice to find this one in such good condition.

Wonderful, beautiful collectable piece find which can be used as originally intended. Or remove the cheroot holder and use and wear the case, as a unique and eye catching pendant.
