Kane is a really impressive collection of Victorian and Georgian cork screws, sold separately
Wooden treen, turned hardwood handles with steel helix and brush at one end
His small, bristled brush is integrated into the end of the handle, intended for dusting off dirt or wax that accumulated on the top of the wine bottle, preventing debris from falling into the wine when the cork was removed. Typically these corkscrew brushed were made from natural animal hair, most commonly horsehair or boar bristles.
Kane has some patina and lovely wear to the wood and steel, built up from well over 100 years of use.
Extremely well made and in very solid condition, she is in great usable strong condition
Screw into the cork, with direct pull action for removal.
