The Director Kami - Antique Japanese Scroll Weight

Kami is a rare and beautifully hand carved stone used and a calligraphy scroll weight

She is a small and heavy natural stone that has been hand carved with a flower and leaf design on her top, with engraved flowers and patterns around hers sides. 

Kami is such a tactile piece of art and bot just here patterns but her natural dark brown stone colouring with hues of amber colour on sides and base.

She has a lots of age, chips and ware to her with an obvious old crack/repair which is more evident on her base, imperfections add to her natural antique charm. 

A stunningly beautiful antique find. One of my personal favourites too.
