The Director Cullen - Antique Laboratory Scale Weights

Cullen is an antique set of chemical balance brass weights in box

He is a laboratory medical Science weight set for scales.

His 9 weight are 100g to 1g in brass the micro aluminium ones are missing from this set

He has tweezers and a perspex cover for micro weights.

Maker is AH  Baird  who had  premises  in  Lothian  Road  Edinburgh  for  many  years,  they  were  well  known  for selling  photographic related  items  such  as  stereoscope viewers etc, as well as Magic Lanterns, Lab Scales, and weights.

Cullen shows some signs of usage and the soft wood has some patina and wear throughout. 

He dates 1900-1910

These scale weights play a vital part in the Laboratory world, as scientists use the scales to measure with high precision chemical  compounds,  as such the weights go down to pretty minute measurements.
