The Director Chris - Antique Bell Spring Corkscrew Branded

Chris is a really impressive design. He is a German bell spring corkscrew

Polished bone handles with steel helix. Has a siding lock., very impressive engineering where the helix screws into the cork, where you keep turning to remove it without you having to use force to pull. 

His bone handle is handed painted with Vichy Celestins which is a well know French water brand. Would have been a promotional advertisement product

Has wear through from  many years of use.  

Extremely well made and in very solid condition, she is in great usable strong condition 

Dates late Victorian to Edwardian.
