Silver and Mother Of Pearl Folding Fruit Knife 1914

This is san Edwardian Mother of Pearl and silver blade folding fruit knife

His natural mother of pearl handle is of a simple smooth sleek finish 

sterling silver blade is thicker than the average fruit knife at 2mm when they are usual below 1mm. this one does have a very worn blade

The mount is beautifully engraved 

His sliver cartouche is vacant for an engraving

Hallmarked Sheffield 1914

Makers is William Needham a renowned and collectible knife maker

Scratches on his blade, worn tip otherwise is good quality with spring back action.
