Sergeant Leslie - Arts and Crafts Rush Seat Corner Chair

Leslie is a bobbin turned corner chair with a rush triangle seat.

He is from the Arts and Crafts period whose style is based on the original 16^th century turned styles.

He is lightweight with fine bobbin turned spindles supporting his well shaped arms and the yoke top rail.

He has a double row of stretchers which support his 3 legs.

He measures 46cm from the floor to the seat.

We have dated Leslie from 1880 – 1920.
