This beautiful book is an autobiography Memoirs of Count Boruwlaski, written by Józef Boruwłaski, a Polish born dwarf who was a well known performer in the 18th and 19th centuries.
Beautiful black leather bound with embossing gilding both sides. His internal cover pages are silk textile lined.
Page ends are glided
Book is in English and contains a sketch of his travels, with an account of his reception at the different courts of Europe.

The pages show signs of foxing and discolouring however all pages appear to be present and in good order for its age. couple of slightly loose few pages at the bottom towards the beginning, but without any obvious tears. Leather has some scuffs and patina, especially along the edges
