Master Vince - Antique Glass Rinser

Master Vince is a traditional English handblown glass rinser

He has a wide deep glass bowl with two spouts, a piece of historical glassware used to cool wine glasses between courses at a formal dinner.

His two spouts on the rim were designed for resting the stem of a wine glass, allowing the bowl of the glass to be submerged in cold water sometimes with ice, to rinse away residue or lower the temperature of the glass for the next wine.

Vince is in great condition with no cracks but shows evidence of age with a few nibbles at his base

The smaller one dates Victorian and the larger one is Georgian

These are popular pieces due to their multi functional uses for today. Great as plant holders, flower arranging, ice buckets, serving salads or deserts, serving sauce or cocktails. Be creative with your end use.
