This is a really cute and impressive cork screw

Victorian treen, turned handle of a wine barrel with steel helix

She has some patina and lovely wear to the wood and steel, built up from well over 100 years of use.  

In solid usable strong condition 

Screw into the cork, with direct pull action for removal.
