Antique Staircase Woodworkers Saw

A tool for Staircase construction.

A professional working tool that represents wall sculpture. Looks like a devil in a boot. 

He has has slit groves at both ends and appeared to have been screwed and unscrewed several times in order to adjust the saw blade depth.
