Antique Silver Tray

This wonderful Midcentury silver plate tray for last rites, alter communion, wedding, exorcism.

Would have ben used by a priest as part of his religious traveling set.

An oval traditional piece with engraving of wheat and grapes predicting bread and wine. plus a shape of a communion  chalice  vessel and a sunshine scripted with the holy name of Jesus IHS

There are water and heat ring marks from use of the candles and wine. Otherwise this tray is is good condition. 

Made in West Germany

Tray fit well to a meat cloche
