Paul is an antique silver plate tobacco accessory box
The intricate cost of arms on his lid reads Mohan Meakin who were a brewery based in India
So this would have been a promotional box.

Paul dates early 20th century to me.
A very rare find
Paul has major signs of wear and patina, he is has tarnish and a wear typical of age and use. He has some scratches on his polished metal finish which adds to the character and authenticity of the box. So apart for his visual patina he is in very good condition.
