The Mixologist Johnathan is an antique lacquer box

Rectangle shape with a hinged lid.

Johnathan is expertly hand crafted, box decoration hand painted silk lined artwork interior which is is bright wonderful quality 

His exterior is finely painted on all sides with classic chinoiserie figure style in gilt also including finely detailed flowers, birds and leaves on a black lacquer base. 

He has a metal  claw hook fastening which is functional 

Johnathan has general age and wear to his surface, with his original finish is  worn, with scratches and chips along his edges of his lacquerware from age and use. 

Charming antique condition. would have original contained a fan which has long gone.

This is a highly collectable, authentic item decorative. Internal paper casing if fixed but can be removed if you wanted to utilise the space in the box.
