
Tate is a George III antique silver mustard spoon
He is in a simple smooth form in a miniature label tape which is common to a mustard spoon.
His hallmarks dates London 1797
Peter and Ann Bateman - London Silver makers (1791-1799).
Peter Bateman was the son of Hester and Jonathan Bateman.
Ann was the sister in law to Peter. Their work was in the Neoclassical style.
He has some wear to his silver surface but otherwise is in great condition for his age
