Phill is a mother of pearl folding fruit knife with a sterling silver blade. His mother of Pearl handle is adorned with fine engravings of acanthus leaves on one side and elegant swirls on the other. The plaque bears the monogram BC or the initial H, and is Hallmarked Sheffield 1858 with the Martin Hall & Co. makers' mark. The blade features an intricate engraved design of fruit on a vine. His original tooled ox blood leather board cover case houses him securely, and he has a good opening and closing spring back - though there is a chip missing from the tip of his Silver blade.
