He is an exceptional sterling silver piece with a engravings and decorated mount in a scallop shell shape. 

Kerian has shape 3 tines and a plain smooth mother of pearl handle.

Hallmarked Sheffield 1904 with collars dated slightly earlier.

Markers mark  is JS is a shield cartouche
