Jade is an antique mother of pearl silver two tine folding fork
Stunning piece of antique history craftsmanship
Her mother of pearl handle is sleek smooth form.
Jade an oval silver plaque (cartouche) which is a blank space for monogram.
Hallmarked silver dated 1866 Sheffield.
Marek JF could be James Fenton, but not sure
Jade opens and closes superbly with good tension and no spring back when in the closed position.
She has a hairline split in the back across her centre pin. Other wise she is in good condition especially for her age.
Dimensions are 12.5cm long and 7.5cm folded.
Fabulous unusual piece for someone keen to lead a sustainable lifestyle
