Beautiful hand painted black lacquer paper mache tray
Hand painted decoration of an exotic bird and bouquet of flowers in true Victorian Chinoiserie style. edges finished with gold gilt decoration
Scalloped edged very large size
Dates 1840
Not perfect condition but beautiful i’m sure you will agree.
Unfortunately this piece got damaged in transit on the way to me so selling for a lot less then it will be worth if in perfect condition. With a large chip one end and smaller chips along the scallop edges as you can see from images.
This is s very large tray 79cm x 61cm
This tray is wired and ready to hang.
