Handmade Kashmir paper mache holder for letters

Hand painted with lacquer finish 

Inside has a green lacquer finish with dividers than are currently loose and need securing. 

Some gold gilt finish is still visible

Handmade in Indian with the tradition craft from Kashmir

Has excessive wear and patina throughout, which adds to its rustic and used charm. Some cracks and chips along the arched lid seams and base corners.
