The Tattooist Nicholas - Small Antique Papier Mache Dishes

Nicholas is a pair of handmade Victorian Papier Mache dish.

He is finished in traditional black lacquer.

He has a scalloped edge and body. Inside the dish is detailed painted design of flowers and birds.

His scallop edge has a couple of small chips which does not take away from his charm. 

He dates Mid Victorian. These trays would have been used on a ladies dresser in the later part of the 19th century.

Today Nicolas will sit well in bedroom, dining table or kitchen.
