The Director Stephanie - Art Nouveau Chalkware Statues

Stephanie is a pair of antique apposing facing figures of ladies. This pair of figures are in the typical late Art Nouveau style. 

Cast from original bronze artwork of  Xavier Raphanel who was a French sculptor who was famous for producing high quality bronze figures and groups. There will be 
be a  bronze pair of figures like this form which the mould would have originally been cast from

Stephanie has small chips and discolouring due to the ages and material. She has still retained her original finish with no over painting or restoration. 

She is still a pair and yet to find anymore examples of this same design.  

Dates 1910c

She is made from brittle chalk plaster and suitable only for indoor decor
