The Tattooist Aston - Antique Black Lacquer Paper Mache Dish

Aston is a handmade Victorian Papier Mache card tray.

He is finished in traditional black lacquer.

The pretty floral design depicts a typical Victorian chinoiserie spray which is hand painted and with detailed handwork of mother of pearl. It is tastefully gilded around the scalloped edge

Aston has some distressed wear to the lacquer, which enhances his rustic and used charm. 

He has a few chips along his edge and on the central design and a repaired land long crack which are more visible on the back.
